When you sign in to Halalify using Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not collect passwords or payment information directly.
Your information is used solely to authenticate you, personalise your dashboard experience, and communicate important service updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use secure, HTTP-only session cookies for authentication (managed by NextAuth.js). We may also use local storage for non-sensitive UI preferences such as theme settings. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
We use Google OAuth for authentication. By signing in, you are subject to Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com). We use NeonDB for database hosting, which processes data in accordance with their data protection commitments.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also withdraw consent to data processing at any time by deleting your account. Contact us at any time to exercise these rights.
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit and encrypted storage at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any significant changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use of Halalify after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
